En Familia is recommended for people aged 13 or over, although younger family members may use it under supervision. The app offers tools for organising family life and sharing information with family members, partners, friends and other groups.

Why 13 or over?

Some features let people publish lists or other content publicly, share recipes and interact with posts created by other users. The recommendation mainly reflects these social features and user-generated content, rather than adult content created by En Familia.

Age confirmation for public features

When someone first tries to make a list public, join a public list or interact with other users' posts, En Familia asks them to confirm their age. These features are enabled only if they confirm they are at least 13. This confirmation is requested solely to control access to public features. It is not obtained automatically from Google or another sign-in provider. Private family tools remain available regardless of the result.

Younger users

En Familia is not specifically directed at children. Minors should use it with the knowledge and supervision of their parents or legal guardians. Younger family members may use private family tools under supervision; public features require confirmation of being at least 13.

Private family organisation

Most tools are designed for private organisation among families and groups: shopping lists, household chores, meal planning, shared expenses and preparations. Using these tools does not necessarily publish content to the public.
